Rory loves football and has been an AFL member for over 15 years. After the lockdowns, Rory wanted to get re-engaged into the community. He discussed it with our Service Manager, mentioning that he would like to start umpiring with a local footy club.
After some searching around to see what might be possible, we saw that the Essendon District Football League (EDFL) had umpiring positions available, and we put his name down. The EDFL contacted us and offered Rory a goal umpiring gig. He loved it!
Rory is thrilled that there may be an opportunity for him to return next season. Go Rory!
